“Here’s my favorite….It’s a combination of things, how Dad is closing his eyes looking like he’s making his most favorite “princess” wish as his daughter stares up at him so adoringly. I love the irony of the Dad wearing the princess crown because everyone always refers to a little girl being her Daddy’s princess. I love the memory at has been captured here…it will be treasured for years to come. I love the color processing. “Omg it was so hard to choose!! These aren’t in any particular order but I will say my absolute favorite is the dad holding his soldier. I’m a sucker for homecomings and Black and whites. I loved seeing everyone’s interpretation of embrace and I would have chosen them all if I could. “I was blown away by all the wonderful pictures everyone shared this week. I find that technically flawed images often evoke more emotions. They just tell a different story. I really loved to see how everyone used this tool. The winning picture really spoke to me, because lens baby really makes you focus on a certain subject and I love how the focus is on their relationship and bond. What a beautifully inspired week! The {radiant} submissions were stunning and made it so very difficult to select just ten. I adored seeing your interpretation of the theme: from rays of sunset falling in through a window, to the radiance of an expectant mother, or a big sister’s radiant smile while holding her tiny sibling. My favorite image shows a bird’s nest at sunrise. This shot represents everything we hope for after a cold, long winter: warmth, spring, and new life.
